These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FocusDeen, including the mobile application, website, features, subscriptions, and related services. By using FocusDeen, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
FocusDeen is a faith-based digital wellness app designed to help users reduce phone distractions, build consistency with prayer, and improve personal discipline. The app may include features such as prayer reminders, Salah Focus rules, app shielding, Deen Score, streak tracking, Quran or daily reading features, progress tracking, and subscription-based premium features.
FocusDeen is a personal productivity and wellness tool. It is not a religious authority, legal service, medical service, or emergency service.
You are responsible for how you use FocusDeen. The app may help you build better habits, but it does not guarantee prayer completion, spiritual outcomes, personal discipline, or religious compliance. You are responsible for confirming prayer times, managing your device settings, and making your own decisions.
FocusDeen may use Apple's Screen Time, Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity, and related APIs to allow users to temporarily shield selected apps during focus windows. These features require your permission.
We do not guarantee that every app will always be blocked or unblocked perfectly. Blocking may fail, delay, or behave differently due to device settings, permission changes, software updates, or Apple system limitations. You can change or revoke these permissions through your device settings.
FocusDeen may calculate prayer times based on location, selected calculation method, madhab preference, or other settings. Prayer times may vary depending on calculation method, location accuracy, and local religious authority guidance. You are responsible for verifying prayer times if accuracy is important to you.
FocusDeen may offer paid subscriptions processed through Apple's App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree that:
Some FocusDeen features may require an active subscription. We may add, remove, modify, or limit features over time, and may change which features are free or paid. If your subscription expires, is canceled, or payment fails, you may lose access to premium features.

If FocusDeen creates an account or anonymous user profile for you, you are responsible for maintaining access to your device and account. We are not responsible for loss of access caused by device changes, deleted apps, revoked permissions, or technical issues outside our control.
Your use of FocusDeen is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, store, and protect information.
We work to keep FocusDeen reliable, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, accurate, error-free, or compatible with every device or iOS version. The app may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, system updates, Apple service changes, or third-party service outages.
FocusDeen is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. FocusDeen does not guarantee that app blocking will always work perfectly, that prayer reminders will always arrive on time, or that using the app will produce any specific spiritual, religious, personal, or productivity outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FocusDeen and its owners, developers, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including those related to missed reminders, incorrect prayer times, app blocking issues, loss of data, subscription issues, or inability to use the app.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of FocusDeen at any time. We may also release updates that change features, design, functionality, subscription access, or technical requirements.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, website, or other reasonable means. Your continued use of FocusDeen after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access to FocusDeen if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, create risk for us or others, or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using FocusDeen at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
